Aparat.newsletter is out! This newsletter is all about building our Aparat community. Every month, I share my projects, photos, and other works on a public board tucked away on a street in North London and through email - so you can be part of the conversation wherever you are. Thank you to everyone who has joined and responded so far; your support is what makes this community special!

Interested in joining? Just send me a note at pinacoteca.aparat@gmail.com - I’d be glad to have you with us.

Happy New Year! 🎉

From me - a calendar for the new year, a design that I create each year for my friends—this time designed to be printed on half a page, stuck on a wall, and to be broadened with notes and sketches.
Days follow the Monday-to-Sunday sequence, while months are unnamed; you can write their names if you like;
Different from last year's Meteora theme, this calendar is a blank canvas for thoughts, plans, and drawings, making it a self-reflection tool that captures ideas, tasks, and time.
Here's to a year filled with fulfilled ideas and wings of all your desires!

The calendar is suitable for printing on plain paper or foil at any printshop. The colour theme is green, reminiscent of nature's lush blooms. The format options include A1, A2, or A3, with two calendars arranged on each size page for a convenient print fit. I recommend GPT Print Shop in Sofia or Stokey Print Shop in East London for printing services.
A1: 29,7 cm x 84,1 cm (half page) - link
A2: 21 cm x 59,4 cm (half page) - link
A3: 14,8 cm x 42 cm (half page) - link
My price: if you like the calendar send me 1 selfie with the print.🌟

For 10 episodes Pinacoteca Aparat will be exhibiting its collection of national flags, flags of separatism, ethnic territories and insurgent armies. Some of these flags are beloved by the world, others are a social taboo or are disregarded. That's not only a list of honourable mentions with a special meaning for us. They also are a reason to discuss and debate our beliefs and concepts of culture, as well as to defend the idea of culture itself.

I’m privileged to be embroiled in an installation with Albena Petkova and her amazing drawings!
Our installation took place in Prague, and is rumoured to have remained on its location in the Malá Strana district for a week before being tucked away by an undisclosed collector. Albena's original drawings are now courtesy of Pinacoteca Aparat; the whole work can be seen at vladir.black/aparat/hanging-drawings
