Pinacoteca Aparat

occult écran | art museum and collection

Pinacoteca Aparat is a collection of artworks, pieces of culture, stories, photos, and noises, hosted in a reworked and reimagined unity of a church altar and Orthodox iconostasis, built as an ever-changing oak structure.

The collection explores Southeastern European cultural layers, metaphors and echoes reflecting Neolithic sacred forms, through the rich symbolic world of Thracian rituals, unique medieval Bulgarian churches, and the vernacular humanism of the Bulgarian Renaissance, reaching into contemporary art and design, culture, and politics.

We publish our magazine, Harmonica de Clocharium, in support of the collection; the readers and visitors of our monthly Salon and exhibitions form the 235U Society, altogether advancing to a Renaissance World.

A cabinet de curiosités, a pinacoteca, or a pop-art bonsai of an anthropological museum — the installation reflects the images, interests, and ideas of me and my société.

Usually open only during moon and solar eclipses — but (almost) every third Saturday of the month, the house opens for invited guests.
At 5 PM: Le Salon Société - art, coffee, and fragments of the collection.
