Pinacoteca.Aparat // Collection structure: CONTEMPORARY.art | CVLTURAE: Fragments and Narratives

Welcome to Sylloge Nummorum Thracorum — a poetic and philosophical exploration into the sacred signs and ancestral visions of the Thracian people, the earliest known ancestors of the Bulgarians.

This project is not about physical objects alone — it is about the myths, rituals, and archetypal memories that these images evoke: fragments of a world shaped by ritual, mystery, memory, and profound meaning.

Unlike the dominant academic tradition of Sylloge Nummorum Graecorum, which subsumes many distinct cultures under a Hellenocentric framework, this initiative seeks to reclaim the Thracian legacy - its poetic visions, legends of kings, prophets, and warriors born of gods, and a sacred worldview largely obscured by the politics of modern life.

For those who wish to delve deeper into this vision, the magazine Clocharium: Sylloge Nummorum Thracorum by Vldr-Vldrm is dedicated to this theme, offering a thoughtful and intimate perspective on these ancient signs.

Visiting Pinacoteca.Aparat is more than viewing artefacts. It is an invitation to enter a space where ancient mysteries meet contemporary reflection, accompanied by Japanese or Indian tea, and an open invitation to ponder one’s own place in the unfolding story of memory and meaning.
